SunRice Festival Committee are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to you to be a part of the upcoming Festival on Mountford and / or MicrotechDPS Balloon Glow across the Easter weekend.

This festival the committee is seeking businesses, organisations or community groups to host stalls at these two showcase events of the SunRice Festival.

Registration close: 15th March
Confirmations will be sent by: 21st March
You will be required to supply a copy of your public liability to complete this registration.
Stall holder fees can be made via credit card as part of this registration, or via direct bank deposit
On completion an email will be sent confirming registration receipt, with further details to be sent later.

PLEASE NOTE NO STALL IS PROVIDED ONLY A SITE, stalls need to be provided by own group
If electricity is needed, please provide your own extension cords
Applicant should list at least three choices of the type of activity proposed at the stall (eg hotdogs, cakes, drinks etc.)
If the number of applications is greater than the number of sites available or there are (in the opinion of the Festival Committee) too many applications for a particular type of stall activity, a ballot will be conducted to determine the successful applicants.
Please note no vehicles will be permitted after 10am, or before 4:30pm

MicrotechDPS Balloon Glow

Commencing at 3 pm on Easter Sunday, our festivities begin with enchanting twilight markets and delightful kids' entertainment. As the sun sets, prepare to be captivated by the breathtaking spectacle of the balloon glow, where the night sky comes alive with the mesmerizing dance of burners accentuating each balloon's unique size and shape, choreographed to music. Concluding the night on a high note, we'll illuminate the skies once more with a dazzling fireworks display that promises to be the grand finale to an unforgettable evening.

As part of this event, the Festival committee is seeking applications for stallholders to participate in the markets at the Glow, in particular, food stalls.

With crowds in previous years being 7,500+ people, the organising committee are calling for stalls to feed and entertain people while waiting for the sun to go down.

The site FEE must be received before this application is accepted.
PLEASE NOTE NO STALL, POWER OR WATER ARE PROVIDED ONLY A SITE. Stalls, power, water and any other resources required need to be provided by their own group.
Applicant should list at least three choices of the type of activity proposed at the stall (e.g. hotdogs, cakes, drinks, face painting, etc.), as we are trying to have only one of each style of stall.
Stall sites are 3x3 metres (multiple sites are permitted). Due to being side by side
Site access will be open from 12pm. Please note no vehicles will be permitted on grounds after 2pm.
No vehicles to leave or enter the grounds from 2pm until 20 minutes after the fireworks end.
Gates open at 3pm, so trading is encouraged from this time.
No ground pegs are permitted to be used on the grounds, as requested by Council.
Preference will be given to previous stallholders conducting the same activity as the previous glow.
Applications must be lodged by Friday 16th February 2024.
The allocation of sites will be made by Monday 26th February and applicants will be informed of the outcome no later than Friday March 1st.
